What Are Cohesive Soils?
Cohesive soils are fine-grained materials with a high clay content. These soils naturally bond together, making them ideal for use in lining, sealing and containment applications. A simple field test: if moistened soil feels sticky, molds easily, and holds its shape when rolled, it likely contains a significant amount of clay.
