Overview

The EG On The Move Stepps Services development, located just north of Glasgow, involved the construction of a new, state-of-the-art petrol filling station and roadside retail destination. The project required significant earthworks and infrastructure, demanding a reliable supply of quality aggregates throughout each phase of construction to keep the programme on schedule.

Challenge

The contractor required a dependable aggregate supplier capable of delivering large volumes of material across multiple product types while maintaining consistent quality and reliable delivery schedules. With tight construction deadlines and several stages of groundworks, drainage, sub-base construction and finishing works, efficient logistics and uninterrupted supply were essential to the success of the project.

Solution

Redrox Quarry Products supplied approximately 20,000 tonnes of primary and recycled aggregates to support the construction of the new development.
